Youth Leadership Apprentice Camp

Friendly Trails Youth ages 8-16 spend a week in the Youth Leadership Program. Monday-Friday, 8:30-1:00. Experience sponsorship first hand. Daily instruction in barn management, leadership skills, horse care, horse training, and riding. Session 1, June 13-17; Session 2, June 20-24; Session 3, July 18-22.

Advanced Trail Camp
Camp out with your horse in Marin County! Teens and adults, 3-5 great nights together. Riders camp out or go home to sleep in comfort. July 6-11, 2011.

Buckaroo Camp

Buckaroo Camp is the summer intensive for our Kinderhorse and young Trailblazer students ages 4-7.

Buckaroos learn horse care and horse training while riding, playing and growing in the beautiful forests of the San Geronimo Valley. ONE WEEK ONLY: July 25-29.
Buckaroo Camp Mentors are Friendly Trails students in the Trailblazer or Youth Leadership Programs, ages 8 and older. Mentors are responsible for one camp horse for the week. They will help younger children while deepening their horse knowledge and horse training skills. Buckaroo Mentors will have four dedicated trail rides or riding lessons during the week in addition to the regular Buckaroo curriculum.
